Stopped Vehicle Report Service
Sidnal Inc. provides clients with road patrol services customized to meet their needs. Field staff safety engineers throughout the country will stop your equipment in locations that are decided by your company. We will not stop any equipment on the side of the road. Most stopped inspections are performed in rest areas, truck-stops, business locations, parking lots, and scale facilities.
Stop inspections are consistent with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Level II inspection. Walk-Around Driver/Vehicle Inspection: An inspection that includes each of the items specified under the North American Standard Inspection. As a minimum, Level II inspections must include examination of: drivers license, medical examinees certificate and waiver, if applicable, alcohol and drugs, drivers record of duty status as required, hours of service, seat belt, vehicle inspection report, brake system, coupling devices, exhaust system, frame, fuel system, turn signals, brake lamps, tail lamps, head lamps, lamps on projected loads, safe loading, steering mechanism, suspension, tires, van and open-top trailer bodies, wheels and rims, windshield wipers, emergency exits on buses, and HM requirements, as applicable. It is contemplated that the walk-around driver/vehicle inspection will include those items, which can be inspected without physically getting under the vehicle. Inspections take between 10 and 15 minutes unless problems are found.
Sidnal Inc. will add any additional information on the report that your company may request. All stop reports are mailed to the company within 24 hours of being written. Emergency situations are called into the company before the unit is allowed to depart.
Sidnal, Inc. can customize the stop report to meet whatever your companys needs may be.
This program gives management that extra step in helping keep their drivers and equipment safe and legal. It also allows management to know who and what is on their equipment when it is many miles from home.
